Warranties

Our bodies are intended to be your work tool. We know that everyday use places high demands on them, and your car with our bodywork will be subjected to numerous, tough tests. That is why our products are rigorously tested to the highest standards. We can guarantee that they meet our strict quality, resistance and durability requirements.

This means that we can offer a free 2-year warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Below we present the General Terms and Conditions of Warranty. You are welcome to read them and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • How long does the body warranty last?

    We give you a guarantee for 24 months from the date of purchase of the vehicle for the body or adaptation of the car.

    What should you do if a unit, stationary heating or other device installed in our body breaks down?

    All devices we install have warranty cards, which we attach to the starter package of the Carpol body. Follow the instructions there and refer to the addresses of the services indicated in the warranty cards.

    Where can we repair our bodies?

    Warranties for our bodies are performed at our manufacturing plant near Warsaw, or in the network of the authorised service points with which we cooperate. The place of repair is determined individually with the CARPOL SERVICE department.

    What does this warranty cover?

    Our warranty covers the repair of defects to the body we made which appear during the warranty period. We undertake to repair any defective element of the body. If necessary, we will replace it with a new one, free from defects.

    What is not covered by the warranty?

    • devices and components that wear out during normal vehicle operation,
    • consequences resulting from improper operation of the body, inconsistent with the operating manual enclosed with it,
    • consequences resulting from improper use of the vehicle and body (vehicle overload, improper load distribution),
    • consequences resulting from the fault, negligence or inexperience of the customer,
    • individual characteristics of the body which are not defects but result from the specific nature of a given body type and about which the customer was informed in the instruction manual,
    • the customer's expectations regarding the suitability of the body to meet their specific needs, beyond the usual use of a given body type, consequences of weather conditions, thermal or chemical damage, mechanical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.), damage caused by road accidents,
    • additional equipment: water heaters, Webasto, air conditioning, cooling units, power generators, etc.

    These devices have separate warranty cards and user manuals, which are included in our package. Inside, you will find all the information about maintenance and services.

    We are not liable for body defects resulting from failure to observe the warranty conditions and operating instructions of the above-mentioned devices. We do not compensate for temporary vehicle malfunctions, discomfort and inconvenience related to lodging a complaint.

    How long does it take to process a warranty?

    Processing of the complaint will not take longer than (.......). The repair will be done within 14 working days.

    What actions will Carpol take under the terms of this warranty?

    If your warranty enquiry is accepted, we will cover the costs and repair or replace the defective part of the body.

    What is a warranty card?

    The warranty card is a document confirming the car body warranty.

    The warranty card is valid if all of the following conditions are met:

    - includes the identification data of the vehicle and its body,

    - includes the release date of the vehicle after adaptation,

    - contains the signature and stamp of the Guarantor,

    - any deletions and/or amendments made must bear the signature and stamp of Carpol.
